About the Test Developer learning plan

The UiPath Test Developer curriculum is meant to equip you with the right amount of UiPath Platform knowledge to develop software testing solutions at API and UI levels, and to automate these solutions. These include unit, integration and CI/CD testing for RPA solutions, test automation for Windows applications and websites throughout the entire software development life cycle (database testing, API testing, UI testing, CI/CD, and so on), as well as mobile device automation and automated mobile testing solutions.

This learning plan starts with the foundational knowledge needed for using the UiPath core automation components: UiPath Studio, Orchestrator and Robots. It then continues with specific courses related to the testing capabilities, including a special one on SAP automation and SAP testing.

This is an intermediate level learning plan and requires prior knowledge of the software development basic concepts, irrespective of the programming language.

The entire curriculum takes around 40 hours to complete, but it also includes some optional learning pieces, which take about 5 hours. At the end of the Test Developer series, you will receive a Diploma of Completion.

Course audience for the Test Developer learning path

This curriculum is aimed at technical professionals in charge of test development or testers aspiring to become Test Developers. Depending on the industry, company and technology used, the role may have different names: Test Engineer, Test Automation Engineer, Test Developer, and so on. But at the core, we’re talking about all the professionals in the software testing business.
