Application Testing with UiPath Test Suite

Product alignment: This course was built using the 2020.10 release of the UiPath Platform and is applicable to newer versions as well.

Learning objectives

At the end of this course, you should be able to:

• Define application testing, describe its challenges and how the UiPath Platform aims to solve them.
• Set up integrations between Test Manager and third-party ALM tools, and synchronize objects between them.
• Create test cases for application databases.
• Create test cases to test an application API using REST services and the Postman integration.
• Automatically generate synthetic test data, load it in queues, and have the test robots consume it.
• Create automated test cases using UI libraries.
• Keep test cases up to date with the changes in the application user interface, just by updating the UI libraries.
• Run automated test sets from the testing module of Orchestrator and Test Manager.
• Define a Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment pipeline using UiPath Test Suite, and automatically running test sets with each code push.
• View and analyze test execution data and KPIs in Test Manager.
