Control Flow in Studio (v2024.10)

This course describes how the control flow activities are executed throughout an automation process. You'll learn how to use the If, While, Do While, For Each, and Switch activities to control the order in which activities are executed within a process.

This course was initially built using the 2022.10 version of UiPath Studio, with updates reflecting the new features from the 2024.10 version. It is applicable to both 2022.10 and newer versions.

This learning plan is based on the 2024.10 release. If you’re preparing for the 2023.10 certification, make sure to refer to the 2023.10 learning plan instead.

This is a two-hour fifteen-minute course aimed primarily at automation explorers and automation developers.

• The If statement 

• Loops: While, Do While and For Each 

• Practice 1—For Each and If 

• Practice 2—While and If 

• Switch 

• Practice 3—Switch and For Each 

At the end of the course, you should be able to:  

• Outline the available workflow layouts and determine when to use sequences and flowcharts. 

• Explain the most common control flow statements used in UiPath Studio. 

• Differentiate between these control flow statements used in UiPath Studio. 

• Use and work with control flow statements correctly and according to the specific needs.
