Data manipulation with lists and dictionaries in Studio (v2024.10)

In this course, we are covering two of the most encountered data types in Studio: lists and dictionaries. Lists are a part of our daily existence, and business processes are often dependent on them as well.  The ability to use lists and dictionaries together in Studio to automate business processes is critical to any aspiring automation developer.

This course was originally built using UiPath Studio version 2022.10, with updates reflecting changes in version 2024.10. We recommend using UiPath Studio 2024.10 to fully benefit from the latest features and improvements.

This learning plan is based on the 2024.10 release. If you’re preparing for the 2023.10 certification, make sure to refer to the 2023.10 learning plan instead.

This is a one-hour course aimed primarily at automation explorers and automation developers.

At the end of this course, you should be able to: 

• Explain the basic concepts of lists and dictionaries and where you can use them. 

• Explain the differences between arrays and lists. 

• List the features of Invoke and string conversion methods. 

• Identify and describe the basic operations of dictionaries.  

• Perform data manipulation using list and dictionary variables in Studio. 

• Integrate dictionary and list variables to build a process in Studio.
