About the GenAI Foundations: BYOT/BYOM training

This course equips UiPath Global Product Support Engineers and other customer-facing technical professionals with the skills to configure, troubleshoot, and support Bring Your Own Tenant/Subscription (BYOT) and Bring Your Own Model/LLM (BYOM) implementations within the UiPath platform. You’ll learn how these options differ from UiPath-managed models, practice setting up and validating configurations, diagnose common issues, and apply clear support boundaries when assisting customers adopting agentic products.

Audience

This course is designed for Global Product Support Engineers and other UiPath technical professionals who support customers adopting agentic products through BYOT and BYOM.

Agenda

This course covers key areas around:   

• Overview – Define BYOT and BYOM, describe why customers adopt them, and differentiate UiPath-managed vs. customer-managed models and their architecture.   

• Configuration – Practice applying setup steps for BYOT and BYOM, and demonstrate how to connect them with UiPath Agents.   

• Troubleshooting – Diagnose common issues, collect and analyze logs, and evaluate responsibilities between UiPath and the customer.   

• Assessment – Evaluate knowledge and readiness through a final quiz on BYOT/BYOM scenarios.   

Learning objectives

At the end of this course, you should be able to:  

• Define BYOT (Bring Your Own Tenant/Subscription) and BYOM (Bring Your Own Model/LLM), and differentiate them from UiPath-managed models .   

• Describe when and why customers might adopt BYOT or BYOM.   

• Demonstrate how to apply the correct configuration steps to enable and use customer-provided subscriptions and models in the UiPath Cloud platform.    

• Differentiate UiPath and customer responsibilities in BYOT/BYOM scenarios, and formulate clear, customer-facing guidance for resolving support cases within defined boundaries.   

• Diagnose common issues with BYOT and BYOM by collecting logs, analyzing error patterns, and using tools such as HAR traces, AppInsights, and UiPath logs.
