UiPath Automation Ops (v2024.10)

The UiPath Automation Ops course explains the component of the UiPath platform meant for creating, deploying and managing Robotic Process Automation (RPA)/automation governance policies in UiPath Studio, UiPath StudioX and UiPath Assistant. You will first be introduced to the purpose and main functionalities of Automation Ops. You will then learn about what RPA governance is, how to create governance policies, and how Automation Ops can be used to deploy governance policies at tenant, group, and user level.  This is a short, intermediate course on RPA/automation governance with Automation Ops. It takes 1 hour to complete. At the end, you’ll receive a diploma of completion.

The Automation Ops course is an introduction to how Automation Ops can be used for deploying RPA governance policies. You will need basic automation knowledge to enroll. If you’re new to automation, we recommend beginning with the Explore automation development with UiPath course.

This course was originally built using UiPath Studio version 2021.10. Although we're now aligning it with the 2024.10 version, the new features introduced in 2024.10 do not impact the core functionality covered in this course. Therefore, the videos and text remain fully relevant.  You may notice some visual differences between the 2021.10 version shown in the course and the 2024.10 version you are using. However, these differences are minor and should not affect your understanding or execution of the tasks. Please refer to the official UiPath documentation, which will detail any small changes or new features. Release notes for 2024.10 Enterprise Release.

The Automation Ops course is aimed at Enterprise IT administrators, Solution Architects, Security experts and consultants.

This course covers an introduction and overview of Automation Ops and how it can be used for governance. The full agenda is broken down into the following six lessons:

• Prerequisites for Working with Automation Ops  

• Creating Policies  

• Deploying Policies  

• Uploading Policies  

• Practice - Create and Deploy a Policy  

At the end of this course, you should be able to: 

• Describe the purpose and main functionalities of UiPath Automation Ops.  

• Create governance policies in Automation Ops and set up their availability and priority.  

• Deploy governance policies at tenant, group and user level through Automation Ops.  

• Upload, configure and deploy a governance policy generated from Studio, using Automation Ops. 

Once you complete this course, you will receive a Diploma of Completion.
