About Get Started with RPA Development 

The Get Started with RPA Development course is the first step in your learning journey towards the UiPath RPA Associate certification. This is the RPA Developer Foundation learning plan. 

Through this introductory course, you will learn about the RPA development process and what the RPA developer’s roles and responsibilities are. Upon completion, you should be able to explain how the core UiPath RPA components work together and how to set up an attended environment, using Studio, Robot with Assistant, and Orchestrator.  

Get ready to take the first step toward acquiring your RPA Developer Certification.  

Product alignment: This course was built using the 2020.10 product version of UiPath Studio and is applicable to newer versions as well.

At the end of the Get Started with RPA Development course, you should be able to: 

• Describe how the UiPath core RPA components (Studio, Orchestrator and Robot with Assistant) work together.
• Differentiate between the two types of UiPath robots - attended and unattended.
• Set up an attended environment with Studio and Assistant, connected to Orchestrator.
• List the key skills required to become an Associate level RPA Developer.
• Build an automation project following a tutorial with detailed instructions.
• Access the UiPath Community ecosystem.

After completing the Get Started with RPA Development course, you will be prepared to move on to further courses from the RPA Developer Foundation learning plan, such as Variables, Arguments, and Control Flow in Studio , UI Automation with Studio , and Orchestrator for RPA Developers.
