About Project Organization in Studio course. 

The Project Organization in Studio course is an intermediate level course where you will learn how to organize automation projects to promote collaboration, reusability, maintainability, and scalability. To achieve this, you’ll be introduced to the types of workflow layouts, Libraries, Project Templates, and Project Activity Settings. 

Product alignment: This course was originally built using UiPath Studio version 2022.10, with updates reflecting changes in version 2023.10. We recommend using UiPath Studio 2023.10 to fully benefit from the latest features and improvements. 

Course audience  

This is a two-hour course targeted at Automation Developers.  

Course agenda 

This course covers the following topics:  

  • Choosing the workflow layout 
  • Organizing projects into workflows 
  • Guided practice—working with libraries 
  • Guided practice—working with project templates 
  • Guided practice—Activity project settings 
  • Best practices for project organization 
  • Final practice—fix my workflow

Learning objectives  

At the end of this course, you should be able to:  

  • Choose the suitable project layout for an automation process. 
  • Break down complex automation projects into functional workflows that can be developed separately. 
  • Identify reusable components across projects and store them as libraries for future reuse. 
  • Create and share project templates to speed up development. 
  • Define Activity Project Settings and their purpose in a project context. 
  • Demonstrate the ability to modify and customize Activity Project Settings. 
  • Identify the benefits of using best practices for project organization.
